enjoyed the Kirkton-Woodhatn
Garden Party.
The Exeter Community Centre
was the place which attracted the
people of our community because
Of the tractor and truck pull,
Sunday.
The Thames Road-Elitriville
United Churches enjoyed an
outdoor service at Riverview
Park in Exeter. It was a special
service held for the promotion of
the Sunday School students.
Following the service,
everyone enjoyed a picnic,
Games and races followed the
picnic. After the games and race
which were enjoyed by all ages,
followed baseball games at
Thames Road diamond.
During the month of August our
minister will be on vacation.
Services will resume September
Mr. & Mrs. Allan Johns and Mr,
& Mrs. Delmar Skinner returned
home from touring England and
Scotland. During this trip they
visited with Mr. & Mrs. Gary
Eagleson and family.
Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Cooper ac-

Academy Music festival,
Saturday and Sunday at Sarnia.
Anita plays accordion and won
a first for a solo in the (12-D)
class, and a third in the (11-D)
class, In a duet with Dan Shute
they won first prize, and she also
played in the Exeter Junior band
number and placed first again.

spent a few holidays last week
with her grandparents Mr. &
Mrs. Henry Becker.
