Don Southcott, representing Southcott Pines said his group was far enough advanced with the plan "to take it to the residents in a public meeting." Reeve Bob Sharen said his greatest concerns and those of residents were roads and drainage. He added, "nobody will disagree with more boating sites but I'm concerned with disrup- tion of the neighbourhood." According to present plans, River Road would be closed off in the area of the present yacht club. Deputy-reeve Rollie Grenier suggested Lake Road would have to be widened to take care of the added traffic from River Road. Sharen added, "Soil tests are SALE SUCCESS It was reported at the Huronview Auxiliary, held in the craft room, that a very successful tea and bake sale was held in June.
