Juveniles lose

The Crediton juveniles dropped a
4-2 decision to Wingham in a
Western Ontario athletic associa-
tion game in the Huron radio and

Centennials
fail to score
The second Sunday of the
Ausable Soccer League Tour-
nament wasn't as productive as
the first for the Exeter Cen-
tennials,
The Exeter senior soccer club
played their best but couldn't
seem to put the ball in the net as
they lost to Ailsa Craig 3-0 in a
hard fought battle.
Bill Young, an Ailsa Craig
forward was at the right spot at
the right time as the ball fell in
front of him and he threaded the
needle and put the ball between
two defenders and past the diving
Exeter goalie.
That's the way it seemed to go
all day for the Centennials as all
three Ailsa Craig tallies seemed
to find their way into the net from
the most impossible angles, with
the Exeter netminder just out of
reach of the ball. Silvio DiBer-
nardo and Peter Kustermans
were the other A)lsa Craig
scorers.
The Centennials pick up on
regular season play on Sunday
when they meet Strathroy at
Canner's field at 6:30 in Exeter.
