"Get Your Kicks in '76!
That's the slogan of the 32nd
annual garden party which will
be held at the Kirkton
fairgrounds on Wednesday, July
21. Activities begin at 6 p.m, with
a fastball game followed by the
ever popular juvenile contest at
7:30 p.m. and a professional
program at 9 p.m.
A total of 18 numbers will be
presented during the juvenile
program with Judy Savoy of
CFPL radio and television
handling the duties of ad-
judicator.
During a recent elimination
Contest, Miss Savoy trimmed the
original 90 contestants down to 18
acts for the garden party.

club toured the United Breeders
Association at Guelph, Monday.
Those attending from this area
were Barry Miller, Cheryl
Stewart, Elaine Stewart, Lori
Lynn Stewart and Murray
Stewart.
Sunday, July 25 the annual
outdoor church service will be
held at Riverview Park Exeter at
11 a.m.
Promotion service of the
Sunday School members will take
place followed by a pot luck
dinner. After dinner races,
games and a ball game will take
place.
The, flowers in the church on
Sunday were placed there by the
family in memory of the late
Harold Simpson of Exeter who
passed away last week. The
sympathy of the community is
extended to his wife and family.
The late Harold Simpson drove a
school' bus for this area.
Connie Francis of Kirkton
visited a few days last week with
Connie Jeffery:

Saturday after holidaying in
England and Scotland for the
past two weeks.

solo rendition of "Ma, he's
making eyes at me" and Sheila
Jones with an acrobatic dance.
An accordion solo will be
presented by Diana Verlinde of
Hensall and AnnlViarie McQuaid
will perform a step dance,
From the Granton and St.
Marys areas will come four acts.

picnic and said it had been
suggested to leave the same
officers for another year,
