Attached to each individual balloon was a balloon-o-gram. As of yet, there has been no reply. Mayor Bruce Shaw, chairman Ruth Durand, and rec director Jim McKinlay were in at- tendance at the opening ceremonies for Canada week Sunday night. An in- terdenominational service followed and was well attended. The weather Monday evening did not permit the scheduled open-house and demonstrations at the pool to be held. Never- theless, the enthusiasm and the weather was good Tuesday af- ternoon on the tennis court. The winners in the various divisions of the tennis tour- nament were Dee Beuerman, ladies' beginners; Fran Shaw, ladies' intermediate; Kevin Parsons, men's beginners; and Randy Parsons, men's in- termediate.
