Take it easy. Jackrabbit start
uses as much as 44 percent
more gas than a gentle start.
Retreads offer more miles to
the dollar, with safety if you
buy carefully.
Industry sources say public de-
mand for gasoline has risen
dramatically in the past few
months. Why? Lower prices
and better national economy
are two possible reasons.
Some insurers are offering
warranties on used cars, in-
cluding protection against the
cost of breakdowns or major
repairs. Costs runs from $60 to
$125 annually, depending on
make, model and year.
Check leaks under your car.
Pink or reddish fluid under the
middle of the car may mean
an automatic transmission seal
leak; same color near a wheel
indicates a brake fluid leak.
Spot an unusual leak? Let us check
your car at Larry,Sniders. Drive safe,
drive assured, with our expert
mechanical work.
