In a quiet country graveyard Where the breezes gently blow, Lies the one I loved so dearly But lost three years ago. I often think of bygone days, When we were all together The family chain is broken now, But memories live forever. I often sit and wonder What you would say and do, If you only knew the changes Since God parted me from you. Though Heaven and Earth may divide us And distance seems a lot, There's a flower that blooms between us The lovely "Forget-me-not." Always remembered by Frank. Awful thoughts were lurking Around in his tiny brain after the story. After many doubts of what he would do to wreck Christmas, finally he was drawn to one conclusion: the Christmas trees were his only chance. McGillacutty Mountain was the Christmas tree corner of the world. He grabbed an axe from his workbench and set out towards the mountain and chopped down all the trees. Very bright By Chris Van Gerwen Precious Blood School It was Christmas night All was very bright The night Christ was born Wrapped up in clothes all torn Everybody was happy and gay Santa is coming with his sleigh Down the chimney in a flash He hit the bottom with a crash. What a Christmas By ROB BILCKE Grade 6 Precious Blood School It was Christmas day about 5:30 when little Sammy Jones crept out of bed. He was five years old and very curious. His mother and father often told him not to be so curious, but he never listened. He slowly went down the stairs step by step to see how many gifts he got. He checked to see if his parents were sleeping, They were, so he would have to be very quiet. Sammy walked into the living room and turned on the small night light, That wasn't enough so he turned on the lamp, it didn't work, The plug must be out he thought. He went to plug it in but instead of the lamp he plugged in the burglar alarm. Off it went. In no time his parents were up and the police arrived.Where was the burglar? No one knew. Sammy had a lot of explaining to do, After everyone knew what had happened they laughed and went home.
