Lucan Pentecostal Church news
Sunday morning Rev. Ray
Brewster spoke from the Psalms.
"Praise Ye the Lord: for it is
good to sing praises unto our
God." He said God delights in all
those people who fear and trust
Him. Praising God brings us into
the place of trust. Mr. Brewster
stated, "We, as Christians, must
' know how to praise God daily in
our own individual lives, not just
in church on Sunday. God will
answer our needs any time when
we praise Him."
Sunday evening the Annual
Christmas concert was held.
"The Star of Christmas" was the
name given to this year's
program with almost 100 students
and teachers involved. It was
held at the Lucan Public School.
Mrs. Ray Brewster was co-
ordinator with John Armitage as
Master of Ceremonies.
Mrs. John Armitage and Mrs.
Roy Dykeman played piano
accompaniment for'the program.
Perhaps the trouble with most
of us is well described by what
William Howard Taft once said:
"Too many people don't care
what happens so long as it doesn't
happen to them."
