Delaware United Church was the setting of the November 15th wed-
ding of Anne Marie McLellan and Bradley Edward Mousseau with Rev.
Susan Seymour officiating. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. George
McLellan and Mrs. Catherine McLellan, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Mousseau, RR2, Hensall. Attending the bride were Gwen Kivell as
matron of honour, and bridesmaids Lori Mousseau, Dolores Brown and
Nita Cornelis. Larry Kivell was best man and the ushers were Barry
Mousseau, Ken McLellan and Bob Parsons. Following a honeymoon in
Florida, the couple now reside at RR2, Hensall.
MR. AND MRS. JAMIE LEO REGIER
Janice Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Tieman,
Dashwood, was united in marriage with Jamie Leo Regier, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Leo Regier, RR8, Parkhill, at Dashwood United Church. Rev.
Bruce Guy and Father John Mooney were the officiating clergy. Bridal
attendants were Nathalie Glavin, Georgina Obre, Linda Hackney and
Mary Becker, Best man was Joe Regier, and the guests were ushered by
Joe Ryan, Jim Hackney and Dennis Hackney. Flower girls were Julia
Tieman and Sandra Riddell. After a honeymoon in Northern Ontario,
the couple took up residence in Zurich,

MR. AND MRS. JAMES A. MacDONALD
Laura Ann Gladys Lee and James Alexander MacDonald were united
in marriage at Brinsley United Church with Rev. C. Westhaver of-
ficiating, The couples parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ancell Lee, Ailsa
Craig, and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. MacDonald, Kitchener. Attendants were
Theresa O'Grady, maid of honour and Brian Hodgson as bestman.
Bridesmaids were Alma Codling, Donna Lee, Kathy Lee and Bonnie
Codling. Rod MacDonald, John Lee, and George Lee were ushers and
the ringbearer was Ted MacDonald. After honeymooning in Eastern
Ontario, Mr. and Mrs. MacDonald took up residence in Exeter.
Christmas dinner
for Rebekahs
Eighty nine members sat down
to a turkey dinner at the Rebekah
Christmas meeting, December 3.
Following the dinner N.G. Jean
Hodgert assisted by Olive Hicks
V.G., conducted the meeting.
Sixteen volunteers offered to help
at the South Huron health unit for
glaucoma eye tests.
A special collection was taken
to replace a bake sale and secret
pal night was planned for
January 7.
Members enjoyed a Christmas
program chaired by Ruth
Skinner. It consisted of poems,
reading, carols and solos.
Santa arrived late in the
evening to distribute gifts.

Ruthann Elizabeth Hoist and Douglas James Redmond were united in
marriage, November 15 at Grand Bend United Church with Rev.
Harley Moore officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Hoist and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Red-
mond. Maid of honour was Susan Sturdevant while the bridesmaids
were Brenda Hoist and Sharen Redmond. Flower girl was Lori Red-
mond. Best man was Brian Richardson. Bill Mancell and Cameron Hoist
ushered the guests, Mrs, Carol Amos was organist and accompanted
the soloist, Wendy Richardson. After returning from a wedding trip to

The annual Christmas Fair
sponsored by the auxiliary was
held in the auditorium Monday
afternoon. The residents had an
opportunity to choose from the
tables of gifts that had been
donated this year by groups from
the Clinton area. Ladies served
tea in the craft room.
The Junior and Senior rhythm
bands from the Goderich
Phsychiatric Hospital directed
by Gordon Harrison entertained
on Family Night. The Junior
Band played and sang several
Christmas numbers along with
vocal solos, duets and in-
strumentals. Shorty Munro was
emcee for the variety program
provided by the Senior Band
Mrs. Shirley Prouty who leads
The Rt. Rev, Morse C,
Robinson, Suffragan Bishop of
Huron administered the rite of
confirmation with the laying on of
hands to the following can-
the weekly Bible study had a
special Christmas service this
week with musical numbers by
Bruce Cann, Mrs. Henderson,
Dorothy Prouty and Susan Cann
accompanied at the organ by
Leila Finkbeiner. Milford and
Edward Prouty assisted with the
devotional period and each of the
residents were presented with a
corsage by Mrs. Prouty.

Mrs. Jennie Lawson all of Exeter
have recently moved into
Fluronview.
Christian Church, of which every
Christian is a part or member.
The Bishop welcomed the
newly confirmed into a fresh
experience of the fellowship of
the body of Christ.

Forrest of Hensall and Hugh
Connon was Bishop's chaplain.
Churchwardens, Nelson
Monteith and William War-
burton, were in attendance.
Flowers on the Holy Table were
in memory of the Dew family.
A reception was held in the
Parish Hall after the service,
where a time of fellowship was
enjoyed by all,
A report given at the annual
meeting of the Federated
Women's Institute of Ontario,
held in Toronto recently,
revealed there are 1,278 branches
in Ontario with a membership of
30,544 with 2,800 life members.
The International Scholarship
report showed large amounts of
money have been donated
abroad. A grant of $4,000 was
given the South African Home-
maker's Club, and a UNESCO
gift of $1,000 is to be used for
leadership training in Gilbert and
Ellice Islands.
There was a further offer to
another agency such as Canadian
International Development to
match $1.00 for .$1,00 for the
development or training of
people.
It was also reported that daring
the summer over 3,000 guests had
visited the Erland Lee Home,
which has been refurbished. by
Women's Institutes,
Guest speaker at the closing
banquet was Minister of
Agriculture & Food for Ontario,
the Hon. William Newman, Mr.
Newman pledged his support to
Women's Institutes who have
done much to make rural Ontario
a better place to live,

Jesus Christ to live as a human
baby, child and man,
The second miracle was to be
found in the body of Christ. He
SIXTIETH ANNIVERSARY said our Lord's body was broken
and his blood shed for us,and we Mr. and Mrs. Albert Scott, Exeter, celebrated their 60th wedding an- celebrate this sacrifice when we niversary November 17 at a dinner with their family. and relatives at partake of the bread and wine in the K.W. Community Centre. They have one son, Clifford of Kirkton, the Holy Communion. and a daughter, Verna, Mrs. Bill Rundle of Woodham.
