The Lodge's next activity will be their annual church service to be held at the Presbyterian Church in Exeter on November 23. 40th anniversary In honour of their 40th wedding anniversary the family of Thomas and Olga Hern held a family dinner for close relatives at Kirkton Community Centre, with open house afterwards for relatives and friends. Along with their nine children and 13 grandchildren guests present were Mrs. Here's Niksch, Hobart, Indiana; Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Hern and Mary Ellen; Mrs. Hazel G. An article on 'Remembrance was given by each member. Mrs. M. Lamond presided for the business. She and Mrs. T. Scott gave a report of the fall rally of the Perth Presbyterial. The December meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Douglas when the annual reports will be given. The Bible study, Lord above all Gods, was in charge of Mrs. Douglas concentrating on Colossians 2:6-15. The topic Huron Feathers, a Presbyterian beach mission at Sauble Beach on Lake Huron, was taken by Mrs. . Mervin Dow.
