The November meeting of the
Women's Auxiliary, South Buren
Hospital, was held Tuesday,
November 11,
President Mrs. MacMillan
chaired the meeting. Annual
reports were given and accepted.
Mr. Taylor- showed proposed
plans for the hospital addition,
Mrs. Huntley and Mrs, Knowles
attended the convention of
Hospital Auxiliary Associations
held in the Royal York Hotel in
October. Mrs, Davis reported on
behalf of Mrs, Knowles and Mrs,
Huntley gave reports,
Mr. Taylor extended an in-
vitation to the auxiliary members
on behalf of the hospital staff, to
attend a lunch At their December
meeting. He also invited the
auxiliary to a bazaar scheduled.
December 3 at Psychiatric
Hospital in Goderich.
The Slate of officers was
presented by Ruth Skinner and
Alma Godbolt installed the of-
ficers for 1976. Tea was served by
the Social Committee,
The meeting learned the
auxiliary purchased $2389 of
equipment for the hospital last
year and that the profits from the
October rummage sale totalled
$2500,

marriage, Saturday, October 18in St. Patrick's Church Lucan with Rev.
Father McGraw officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs.
Jack Von Geel of Lucan. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. James
Barker of Lucan. Maid of honor was Nancy Flanigan. Bridesmaids
were Jean Barker, Ann Stanley, and Ann Von Bussell. Best man was
Russ Carter. Ushers were Dale MacKenzie, Steve Nace, and Paul Van

Mr. & Mrs. Duncan P. Etherington following their wedding at Richard's
Memorial United Church on September 27, 1975. The bride is the
former Loes Gouweloos, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jack Gouweloos of
london.The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Richard Etherington ofRR 1
Hensall. Loralie Bruschetto was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were'
Marilyn Huber, Darcy Etherington and Joan Vander Velden. Wendy
Van Gaalen was flowergirl. Best man was Les Hartle and ushers were
Girvan Westlake, Ron Gouweloos and Dwight Etherington. Tommy

CHICKEN PARMIGIANA looks
like good eating and tastes like it
too! It's tailor-made for families
whose appetites are boundless
but whose budgets aren't. Boned
breasts of chicken are coated in
crumbs and nippy Canadian
Parmesan cheese then sauteed
until golden. These succulent
morsels are crowned generously
with a spicy tomato sauce and
slices of Canadian Mozzarella
CHICKEN PARMIGIANA
(Makes 6 to 8 servings)
8 single chicken breasts
7 tablespoons butter
'4 cup finely-chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
1(8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 4 teaspoon thyme
34 cup fine dry bread
crumbs
3 4 cup grated Canadian
Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
6 slices (approx. 6-ounces)
Canadian Mozzarella cheese
snipped parsley
cheese then baked to tempting
tenderness,
Have butcher remove bones
from chicken breasts. 'Preheat
oven to 350 F, Melt 2 tablespoons
of the butter in a large saucepan;
saute onion and garlic for 5
minutes. Add and mix in
tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil,
salt and thyme. Simmer un-
covered 20 minutes. Flatten
chicken breasts slightly with a
meat mallet. Combine crumbs
and Parmesan cheese. Dip
chicken into eggs and then into
crumb mixture. Melt the
remaining 5 tablespoons butter in
frying pan. Saute chicken pieces
until golden on both sides. Place
side by side in a broad shallow
baking dish. Pour 2(3 of sauce
over chicken; top with Moz-
zarella cheese. Pour remaining
sauce over cheese. Bake in
preheated oven 25 to 30 minutes.
Garnish with parsley.

MR. AND MRS. REINY FREITER
Wedding vows were exchanged between Lynda Jean Dougall and
Reinhold Peter Freiter on Saturday, October 25th in Exeter United
Church. Rev. Glen Wright, Exeter and Rev. Henry Winters, Leamington
officiated. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr, & Mrs. Harry
Dougall, Exeter and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Erich Freiter,
Dashwood. The bride was attended by Sandra Rowe, Woodham as
matron of honour and bridesmaids Barbara Passmore, Exeter, Erika
Freiter, Dashwood, Beverley Buich, Thedford, and Lisa Rundle, Exeter.
The best mos was Dennis Rowe, Carl Stadler, Bill Dietrich, Roger
Dougall, and Erich Freiter Jr. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls
and Northern Ontario the couple will reside in Woodstock.

Executive meeting was held in
Hensall United Church,
November 4, with Mrs. Roylance
Westcott, the president,
presiding for the business.
The meeting opened with the
Institute Ode and Mary Stewart
Collect followed by roll call and
reading of minutes by Mrs. Lloyd
Ballantyne, secretary treasurer.
A motion was passed to have a
speaker at the District Annual
meeting in May 1976 at Crediton
Community Centre.
Report was given on County
Rally held in Belgrave Institute
hall by Mrs. Robert Kinsman. It
was decided to have the next
Rally in 1976 at Dashwood.
Grand Bend is to make up the
Fall Fair Exhibit list for the
Branch Institutes. The Branch
Presidents then met for a short
business meeting.
