Retreat held
A "Twilight Retreat" for
teachers, religion consultants,
secretaries and school board
members was held Thursday,
October 16 at Mt. Carmel School,
All schools in zone two of the
Huron-Perth Roman Catholic
Separate School system were
represented.
Conducting the retreat was
Father Fedy, C.R., who stressed
the relationship between prayer
and faith. He said prayer ex-
presses and nourishes faith.
Trust, love, hope and a converted
heart are the necessary attitudes
one must bring to prayer, he
stated.
"Love just seems to happen
where people trust each other,"
said Father Fedy. "Teachers are
important in fostering trust in the
child., The love o£, God is a,
mystery to be experienced, not
truth to be understood."
