returned home Friday after
visiting with Mr. & Mrs. Graham
Wark and family at Killarney,
Manitoba. They had to delay
their departure for home for a
couple of days due to a bad snow
storm in Manitoba early last
week.
Mr. & Mrs. Rob Templeman,
Tim Templeman, Mr, & Mrs.
John Templeman and family,
attended a family gathering at
the Orange Hall in Mitchell
Saturday evening. The dinner
was hosted by Mr. & Mrs.
Wilfrid Annis.
Mrs, Sam Norris, Mr, & Mrs.
Bob Norris and family, visited
Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. John
Burleigh and family, Goderich.

James. They are motoring to
Comox, British Columbia where
Murray has been posted. Other

Motherwell Church on Mondaye

Rev, Beaton administered the
rite of baptism to Joel Daniel son
of Mr. and Mrs. Don Smith during
the service in the United Church
on Sunday morning, Mrs. Smitti,
the former Janice Abbott, was
welcomed into church mem-
bership by transfer from Lucan
United Church. We welcome the
Smith family to this community.
Seniors meet
Senior Citizens enjoyed an
afternoon of cards and crokinole
in the community centre on
Monday followed by lunch.

Mr. & Mrs. Tom Kooy and Mr.
& Mrs. Ralph Lightfoot were in
charge of the euchre party in the
community centre on Monday
night. Mrs. Georgina Webster
captured the high score for
ladies; lone hands, Mrs. Jim
Gaunt; low Mrs, Verna Ramsay.
Men's high score, Harry Carroll;
lone hands, Norman Lewis; low,
Murray Neil; Mr. & Mrs, Murray
Neil and Mr. & Mrs. Roy Swartz

Mr. & Mrs, Lloyd Vogan and
their daughter Mrs, Dale Taylor
and Shawn of Listowel were
Sunday visitors with Mr. & Mrs.
Fred Cunnington. All had dinner
together at Bartliffs in Clinton in
celebration of the forty-eighth
wedding anniversary of Mrs,
Vogan's parents, Mr. and Mrs,
Fred Cunnington. The couple
were feted on Friday 'and
Saturday evenings as well.

Mr. Lawrence Hirtzel was on a
hunting and fishing trip last week
with Bill Hirtzel, Exeter; Charles
Sims, Crediton and Paul Baker of
London. They spent part of the
week in the Cobalt area and
returned to North Bay for the
balance of their time.
Jeff, Daryl and Steven Greb
were weekend visitors with their
grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ken
Greb, while their parents, Mr. &
Mrs. Wayne Greb, were in Chalk
River attending the Stringer-
Tennant wedding.
Mr, & Mrs. Lawrence Hirtzel
attended a birthday party for
Jeffery Hirtzel on Sunday at the

Mrs. Harry Murless who has
been holidaying and visiting
relatives in England .f or several
weeks has returned to her home.
Mr. & Mrs. Orville Taylor of
Brockville visited on Saturday
with Mr. & Mrs. Cecil Lewis and
returned Sunday. Mr. & Mrs.
Orville Taylor and David, Brock-
ville visited Saturday with Mr. &
Mrs. Cecil Lewis and returned
Sunday with Mrs. Ernie Lewis,
London, and visited with Mr. &
Mrs. Arnold Lewis and family.
Mr. & Mrs. Ken Carter, Mr. &
Mrs. George Lee spent Sunday in
Harriston visiting with Mr. &
Mrs. Dick Parker, who have both
been confined to hospital. Mr.
Parker suffered a heart attack
and Mrs. Parker fell and
dislocated her shoulder, The
Parkers have been released from
hospital.
Sunday Mr. & Mrs. Tom Kestle
entertained Mr. & Mrs. D. Kestle
and Mrs. Ken Ross and Steven in
their new home in London.
