Reception and Dance for SHARON JONES and ED LAWSON (Bridal Couple) All the street lines have now been installed in Exeter's sewer program, Works superintendent Glenn Kells said this week about 50 percent of the clean-up work has also been completed by the contractor and all the sewer lines have been tested with the ex- ception of some at the north end. However, it will be two to three weeks before any households can be connected to the new sewers. It's expected to take that long to complete the construction of the pumping station at the corner of Marlboro and John St. Work on the lagoons west of town is about 95 percent com- pleted. Kells noted that the contractor is well ahead of schedule on the project. Many people will quickly tell you he is merely a figment of the rich imagination of popular entertainer Gordie Tapp, But that's not true. In an article in a recent edition of Canadian Farming produced by Inter- national Harvester Canada, Tapp claims that Cousin Clem is a real person and is based on two or three people he knew when he was growing up in the farming country in this area. "And they're still alive too," he says. "They're still farm people, getting together to talk crops and weather around the farm equipment stores in towns like Clinton and Exeter."
