We didn't get to say goodbye.
Our hearts ache with a sadness
And our tears still flow
For what it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
The love you gave we'll cherish
Life will never be the same

Cousin Clem is
an area character
Who is Cousin Clem?
Many people will quickly tell
you he is merely a figment of the
rich imagination of popular
entertainer Gordie Tapp,
But that's not true. In an article
in a recent edition of Canadian
Farming produced by Inter-
national Harvester Canada, Tapp
claims that Cousin Clem is a real
person and is based on two or
three people he knew when he
was growing up in the farming
country in this area.
"And they're still alive too," he
says. "They're still farm people,
getting together to talk crops and
weather around the farm
equipment stores in towns like
Clinton and Exeter."
