Gulf Durafarm is a year round multi-grade hydraulic fluid specifically formulated for separate (non- integrated) hydraulic systems in farm equipment. Because it performs well over a wide temperature range, Durafarm ensures smooth, firm and immediate response without the need for seasonal changeovers. Durafarm's particular combination of additives provides anti-wear protection for longer life, inhibits rust and corrosion, and resists sludge build-up that can interfere with the smooth operation of hydraulic components. To further guarantee positive hydraulic response, Durafarm contains anti-foam additives. Durafarmn is packaged to meet your needs, in a convenient plastic one gallon cont., 5 gallon pail or 25 gallon drums (in selected areas). .1<eep hydraulic systems on your farm running smoothly with the all- season hydraulic fluid Gulf Durafarm. Ontario Egg Marketing Board has been called for October 14 to 17, Ontario Farm products Marketing Board chairman Alex Burrell announced this week. On the ballot, producers will be asked to express their opinion on whether they favor supporting the present Ontario egg producers' marketing They also will be given four choices on the type of quota transfer policy they want adopted by the province, Mr. Burrell said. The four alternatives on quota transfer policy from which producers must choose are: The existing controlled quota transfer policy under which the Ontario Egg Marketing Board is the sole buyer and seller of basic quota; A controlled leasing policy which would provide for leasing of production quota on an annual basis under the control of the egg marketing board; An open quota transfer policy under which a producer could sell his basic quota on the open market; An open leasing policy under which a producer could lease his production quota on an annual basis on the open market. A 66.66 percent expression of support is required for the farm products board to recommend continuation of the existing egg marketing plan, he said. Balloting will be conducted at all county agricultural representative offices for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and food from 9 a.m. to 5 p,m. on the four days, Eligible producers of record with the Ontario Egg Marketing Board as of September 16 will be the only producers allowed to vote, Hill predicts support for egg board The majority of the 1,200 Ontario egg produders will support the continuation of the Ontario Egg Marketing Board, Gordon Hill, of Varna, president of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture predicted. Mr. Hill made the prediction when questioned following an address to more than 100 Oxford Federation of Agriculture members. "We still have to fight them through the courts," Mr. Hill said of opponents of the egg marketing board whose ob- jections resulted in a vote being called on the board's future. Nothing will be resolved, he said. The opponents of the plan, he said will obstruct it at every opportunity. Mr. Hill suggested that the date of the ballot will be announced after the provincial election Thursday. A vote against the board is a vote to open the American bor- der, Mr. Hill said. The egg price he suggested would then drop from its figure of 65 to 73 cents a dozen to its 1970-71 figure of three dozen foe$1. If the egg producers turn doWn the board, he said, the market would be controlled by the few people with access to chain store markets. He said voting for continuation of the board, will provide it with "a chance to make it work, a chance to keep the family farm in operation. Without an orderly marketing system, there isn't any hope for the family-type egg producer. "We have gone through a difficult time trying to organize marketing of eggs. As long as we keep the board, we have a chance. Trojan's TXS94 is a consistently good performer, year after year.
