- Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Rader, Mr. &
Mrs. Aaron Restemayer and Mr.
& Mrs. Stuart Wolfe spent last
week fishing at Inverlocky
Lodge. Some beautiful fish were
caught, especially the 15 lb. 40
inch pike landed by Irvin.
Saturday evening callers on the
Restemayer's and Wolfes were
Mr. & Mrs. Leeland Restemayer.
Rev, Earl Steinman, Parkhill,
former minister at Zion Lutheran
Church, suffered a stroke
recently, He has been released
from hospital and is at his home.
Mrs. Jim Bennet, Strathroy is
spending .some time with Mrs.
Henry Eagleson while her
husband attends his brother's
funeral in the west. Other visitors
were Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Eagleson
of Exeter; Mr, & Mrs. Gordon
Eagleson of Southampton, and
Eric Wolfe and Tim of London.
Dashwood W.I. won third prize
with their exhibit at Exeter Fair,
Jennifer, small daughter of Mr. &
Mrs. Don Weigand won first prize
in the under six months class at
Zurich Fair.
Mr. & Mrs. Glenn Thurman and
Dania, Denfield, have taken up
residence in Mrs. Nenia Kraft's
home, Mrs. Kraft and Robin have
purchased a home near Grand
Bend.
Mr. & Mrs. Ross Love visited
with their son and family, Mr. &
Mrs. Don Love of Sudbury and
spent Saturday with them at their
cottage, Sheguiandah,
Manitoulin Island.
Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Bowman
have purchased the house from
,the estate of the late Mrs. Loretta ,
'Zimmer.
Mrs. Vivian Eagleson spent a
week at Little Current
Manitoulin Island, with Mr. and
Mrs. Eric Eagleson, Marshall
and Marianne.
Becker reunion
The sixth annual William
Becker family reunion was held
in Dashwood Community Centre
with 67 present. •
During the afternoon the
children enjoyed games and
sports arranged by Judy Kraft
and conducted by Cindy and Sue
Ann ,Becker.
Following a buffet style lun-
cheon, Bertha Becker was
presented with an engraved
pewter mug from the family in
recognition of her efforts in
providing each of her brothers
and sisters with a family tree
record book.
