President of the ladies division Mrs. Ross Skinner said this week that Mrs. Honour Stanley of the Honibee Boutique would be demonstrating the art of quilting at the Fair Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Joanne McKnight will be showing displays of quilling and decoupage while a new craft of hairpin lace will also be shown. The special arts and crafts displays and demonstrations will be held at the east end of the gymnasium in the arena. For the first time a special class has been organized for senior citizens exhibiting one article from any hobby. Each entrant will receive a prize of $1. A baking Queen will be named Friday night.
