was held Sunday for the 'Mines
Road and Elimville Churches at
the Riverside. Park.
An informal service was held at
11:00 a.m. during which a
promotion ceremony, and per-
tificates and Seals were
presented as well as . a
recognition to the students and
teachers of the Sunday School. Seals were presented to' the
following people: Laura Johns,
Mary Johns, Eleanor Johns, Joan
Pym, Brian Pym, Elaine Pym,
Nancy Cooper, Doug Cooper,
Joan Cooper, Margaret Pym,
Allan Fytn, KathrYn Johns and
Kathy Cooper.
An enjoyable potluck dinner
was held after the morning
Service, followed by games and
races for all ages. A family
baseball game was held at the
Thames Road baseball diamond
in which Klimville played
Thames Road. The ball game
was won by Thames Road,
Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Cooper and
Mr. & Mrs. Donald Parsons and
family returned home from an
enjoyable three week vacation.
They toured many places in-
cluding Colorado, Texas, Arizona
and New Mexico.
The Brock reunion was held on
Sunday at the home of Mr. & Mrs.
Alvin Cooper.
Mr. & Mrs. Floyd Cooper and
family visited with Mr. & Mrs.
Donald Parsons and family on
Monday evening.
Margaret Pym is spending the
week at the church camp at
Goderich,
Mr. & Mrs. Ross Skinner and
family visited with Miss Debbie
Parsons, Master Donnie Parsons
and Mrs. Susan Willert at the
Stratford General Hospital.

Tournament was held at Exeter
Golf course on July 27.
The two ball foursome teed off
with 31 couples participating.
First low gross - George and
Mary Ewer, 43,
Second low gross - Stu and Joan
Cassils, 55.
Third low gross - Steve English
and Shirley Labadie, 56,
Fourth low gross - Cecil and
Marie Lewis, 59,
Most honest golfers were Peter
Bremmans and Mary with 104,
Highest socre on one hole was
George and Marilyn Lee with 16
strokes.
Following the tournament was

at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Cecil
Lewis.
Nancy Ryan hit the ball that
brought Debbie Merriman home
to break the tie for a victory for

A score of 8-7 for Clandeboye
puts the team in top place in the
league.
The unbeatable team trounced
Grand Bend Wednesday night in
a very onesided game with a
