Chamberlin speaking from Jude,
vs. 20-21 said that to be strong
Christians, we must study the
word, pray in the spirit, take
what God has for us and trust
Him for eternal life. In the
evening he spoke from James 2:
14-26 saying as faith without
works is dead, we need to let God
work on us, in us and through ug,
to be a blessing for others.

Rey. John Hofland told his

His short ministry sustained and
saved many human beings, Mary

Many people today cry out for
help as Mary cried out for help
and are saved through Christ.
Her life turned from darkness
into light, and God is still con-

they are. He will restoreandheal
us of our infirmities if we but ask,

Once again all car ticket

make a reckoning on what has
been sold to date, and remember
time is getting short. The Lucan

away, so get with it folks get
those tickets sold and thus help
the Legion help the youth of the
community for that's what the
funds are for - to promote sports.
Funny time to be talking about
membership, nevertheless there
is no time like the present. Was
looking at the membership board
the other day, and would you
believe it there are still a few,
very few, who have not paid their
dues for 1975 to date. When
reading this item in the column,
stop right now, check your Legion
membership card and observe
the date, if it doesn't read 1975,

Got a leeter from the Jolly
Fellow (Santa) the other day and
he has ,a problem. He has lost his
glasses and is quite troubled by
the fact he cannot get them
replaced and you know how he
likes to read to the young folk
during hisvisits. Now Santa's
glasses are a special kind, I think
they are called Grandpa glasses,
for a better description,
remember the type the late
Charlie Weaver used to wear,
that's the ones. If anyone has a
pair they would like to let Santa
have just get in touch with the
writer of this column or send
them Sid Daley, Box 339, Lucan,
Ontario, We will make sure the
correct lenses are put in to suit
Santa's eyes, and get them to him
prior to his many pre-Christmas
visits.
And that's 30 for this week -
remember - The dangerous age is
when men begin to regret the sins
they didn't commit.
