HUGH MORENZ Sunday dinner guests with Mr. & Mrs, Ron Desjardine and Steve Were her sister and husband Mr. Mrs, Ed Hunter of Port Franks and Mr, Hunter's parents and brother, Mr. & Mrs. Joe Hunter and Chris from Wootton Bassett England and Fred Teetzel of Port Franks. Mrs. Hazel Mitchell of London visited Tuesday with Mr. & Mrs. Ed Turnbull. Mr, & Mrs. Charles Volk and family attended the recent funeral of her mother, Mrs. Martha Russell, at Bobcaygeon. Mrs. Sid nixie and Glenn and Charlie, and daughter Pam of London, vacationed last week at their cottage at Buckhorn Lake north of Peterborough. Mr. Durie spent the weekend with them at the cottage, Mrs. Trellis Little, Earl Stebbins, Mr, & Mrs. Bill Little, Connie and Lonnie of Huron Park, Mr. & Mrs. Philip Little, Colleen and Jennifer of Exeter, all attended a barbeque Sunday, at the home of Mrs. LittleSr's. daughter, Mr. & Mrs. O'Neil Forget at Warwick village. Friday afternoon visitors with Mr. & Mrs, Hugh Morenz were his sister, Mrs. Harry Chapman of London and Mrs, Georgia Pineo of St.. Thomas. On Sunday the Morenz's attended the Coleman reunion picnic at Seaforth Lions Park. Stratford and saw the play "Measure for Measure", at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival. Mr & Mrs. Lawrence Johnson spent the weekend at Southampton with their daughter family, Mr. 4 Mrs. Duncan McVittie, Robin and baby Lawrence, Mrs, Emery DesJardine has returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital after having .fractured her hip. Mee, Margaret Maven of Guelph spent the weekend in Grand Bend with l3uelah Halt and Mrs. Mae Holt, and returned home Monday. Gillian Reed of Stratford visited on the weekend with Glenda and Tammy Morenz. • Mr. & Mrs, Laird Hendrick accompanied by their daughter &, son-in-law, Mr, & Mrs. John Shaw and children Barbara and San- dra, returned Thursday from a three week trip to the west, and they attended the Calgary Stampede. Mrs. Vincent Thompson has returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital, London and we are glad to report her feeling so much better. Ladies enjoy bus trip Centralia United Church Women accompanied by ladies ;from surrounding communities enjoyed a bus trip to Elmira and other points of interest on Wednesday of last week. A visit was made to the Men- nonite Church in Elmira where films were shown and they were served a delicious noon meal, They arrived in Stratford for shopping and an evening meal before returning home. The playground would like to thank the group for that performance and the one on Friday at the Penny Carnival, The Penny Carnival went very well. Even the weather co- operated. We feel it was a great success and we wish to express our appreciation to everyone who came and played the games. Our total playground is going to Storybook Gardens today. The children have been anxiously waiting for the day and we are sure it will be enjoyed by everyone involved. The senior group have been busy all week painting 'the small building We work from.
