J. Campbell officiating, Wendy Lee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leeland Desjardine, Grand Bend and Mark is the son of Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Barber, Windsor, Maid of honour was Janet Webb, London and the best man was Paul Branton, Windsor. Other attendants were Cynthia Desjardine and Glenda Desjardine, sisters of the bride of Grand Bend, Sandie Barber, Windsor, John Barber, Dave Aldous, both of Windsor and Doug Desjardine, Parkhill. Velda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Tripp, Cen- tralia, and Anthony is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Antonia Porciello, Parkhill, Matron of honour was Mrs. Barbara Porciello and the best man was Bruno Porciello. Other attendants were Josephine Porciello, Piera Tranfaglia, Kristina Lapanja, Leanne Tripp, Angelo Porciello, Daryl Tripp and Alfio Varricchio. Kevin and Collin Tripp, brothers of the bride were ringbearers. Mrs. Ruth McLaren presided at the meeting, and led in the hymns, t with Mrs. Elmer Desjardine accompanying on the piano. A prayer by Mrs. Harold Hendrick opened the meeting. Twelve people answered the roll call by reciting a scripture verse Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Louis Van Ryn Joyce Louise Dorman and Harvey Louis Van Ryn were united in marriage June 14, at Ailsa ,Craig Baptist Church with Rev. Wilfred Schlegel and Dan Curvey officiating. Joyce is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dorman, Ailsa Craig and Harvey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Van Ryn, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Maid of honour was Sandy Pratt, California, and the best man was Bob Pelon, Flint, Michigan. Other attendants were Darlene Sidaall, Denfield, Sandra Heaman, Ailsa Craig, Candy Middleton, Florida, Wendy Bugai, Grand Rapids, Max Dorman, Ailsa Craig, Jim Van Ryn, Grand Rapids, Paul Vander- meen, Grand Rapids and Mark Middleton, Toronto. Mrs. Addie Morlock gave a reading on prayer, comparing it tp, Elijah's answer to prayer. The message of the afternoon, "Witnessing" was given by Mrs. Elmer Desjardine. Her text was taken from Luke 9: 1-5. A season of prayer closed the meeting, after which lunch was served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Greg Bill Christian Reformed Church, Exeter was the setting Saturday, June 28 for the wedding of Kay Hovius and Gregory Lawrence Bill. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hovius, RR 2, Hensall are the parents of the bride and the groom's parents are Mr, and Mrs. Lawrence Bill, Estevan, Saskatchewan. Rev. Jack Roeda officiated. The bride's attendants were her three sisters Sadie, Effie and Mary. The best man was Harvey Leblanc, Estevan and the ushers were Albert and Robert Hovius.
