Valuable heat escapes from a home around doors and windows, through narrow gaps where window and door frames are set into the wall, and where glass is loose in the frame. Well-fitting storms and weatherstrip, caulking compound, and fresh putty will all help to draught-proof your house. You'll be stopping leaks that may•account for 25%. or more-of the heat lost from an otherwise well-insulated home... so you'll be improving comfort, and conserving energy, too.
