baptism was observed on Sunday
in the United Church when James
Kenneth, son of Mr. & Mrs. Ken
Eagleson and Scott Morley, son
of Mr. & Mrs. Morley Eagleson
were baptized by the Rev. Harold
Dobson.
The United Church women held
their May meeting at the home of
Mrs. Ken Rock, Parkhill.
Mrs. Olive Horner led in the
devotions and Mrs. Iva Lager-
werf presided during the business
session.
Lunch was provided by Mrs.
Ruth Bullock and Mrs. Martha
English.
Best wishes are extended to
Mr. & Mrs. Bruce Price who were
married on Saturday. The bride,
the former Janet Lagerwerf, is
the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jan

biography of the man "Folliet
Sandford Pierpont," who wrote a
hymn in 1854. Mrs. Dude's topic
was about a trip to Yugoslavia
that she and her husband took in
October. She showed pictures of
the country and monasteries and
some souvenir items,
Mrs. Olive Miller presided for
the business, Roll call was an-
swered by telling "The birthplace
of Our ancestors".
It was decided to quilt two
quilts for Mrs. H. Hodgson, and
the afternoon group would help at
serving breakfasts, when the
Chamber of Commerce sponsors
Buffaloburger Fest days in June.
The meeting closed with
