met Tuesday evening in Grand
Bend United Church.
Two members of the Huron
Presbytery, Rev, John Roberts of
Belgrave, chairman of pastoral
relations and Rev. Stan
McDonald of Londesboro,
chairman of division of ministry
and personnel, were in charge of
this meeting.
Voting by ballot, the members
made a unanimous decision to
send a call to Rev. Harley Moore
of CedarSprings to be their new
pastor.

present minister, tendered his
resignation some time ago,

The Grand Bend Women's
Institute met Thursday afternoon
in the town hall for their annual
meeting and election of officers.
Seventeen answered roll call by
payment of fees,
A discussion followed on short
courses and it was decided to ask
for interior designs as first choice
and needlework for the second
choice.
The District Director, Mrs. Ed
Gill, reported the district annual
will be held in Dashwood Com-
munity Centre on May 15.
Delegates will be Mrs. Nola
Taylor, Mrs. Raymond Kading,
Mrs. Ed Gill, and Mrs, Hugh
Morenz,
Mrs. Leroy Bariteau conducted
the election of officers, as

floral emblems, by Mrs.

Mr. & Mrs. Roy Morenz at-
tended the funeral of her cousin,
Mrs. Pat Cronin, Wednesday,
where services were held at
Schreiter and Sandrock Funeral
Home in Waterloo, with in-
terment at Parkview cemetery.
Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Johnson
accompanied by Mr. & Mrs. John
Greenwood of London returned
home Tuesday after a two week
holiday in Florida.
Tammy Morenz celebrated her
eighth birthday Thursday, with a
trip to Harold Vincent's bush to
watch maple syrup making,
along with her sister Glenda and
nine young girl friends.
Rev. & Mrs. Dobson spent a few
days in the past week at
Powassan, visiting her brother
and sister, Mervyn and Audrey
Cheaney.
Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Green
returned Sunday after spending
the winter months in Florida,
Mrs. Alan Kraul and Jennifer
of Hamilton spent the weekend
with her mother Mrs. Mel Peariso
here, and also visited her father.
