Notices will be issued by March 1 and are expected to be for the same amount as the 1974 quar- terly requisition, The total 1975 requisition will not be known until the year's budget is set after grant regulations have been received from the Ministry of Education. The board also approved staffing ratios for schools in the 1975-76 school year, For elementary schools it will be approximately 29.4 pupils per classroom and, for secondary schools, 16.9 pupils per teacher. The 1974-75 figures are 29.89 and 17.0 respectively. These are averages and vary from class to class depending on enrolment. Appearing before the board to discuss the, problem of drainage at the site of the new Parkhill- West Williams Public School, Mayor William Waters assured trustees of the town's cooperation in the installation of a storm drain to serve' the property. Drainage has long been a recurring problem at the school site, In other business, the board waived its policy on use of school equipment to assist the Poplar Hill Athletic Association to put on a concert in tribute to the late Murray Fletcher. And, to encourage and recognize student artistic achievement, the board decided to provide a best actor and best actress award for the annual Middlesex County Drama Festival. KRAFT Edmund F. Kraft of Dashwood, passed away at St, Joseph's Hospital, London, on Saturday, February 22 in his 81st year, He was the husband of the late Ellanora Willert (1988). He was the father of (Dorothy) Mrs. Elgin Rader, Dashwood and Harold Kraft of London; brother of Mrs. Victor (Lucinda) Heywood of Exeter, and Mrs. Dora Stadelbauer of London. He is also survived by eight grand- children and nine great- grandchildren. Mr. Kraft rested at the T. Harry Hoffman Funeral Home, Dashwood, then on Tuesday to Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood, where funeral services were held under the direction of Rev. K. Hahn. Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard, Kenneth and Brian Rader, Terry Martin, Jim Becker, and Peter Kraft. OWEN PETER DODDS Owen Peter Dodds passed away on Thursday, February 20 at St. Joseph's Hospital, London in his 65th year. A resident of Ailsa Craig, he was the husband of,...1.vene (Dixon) Dodds. He was the father of Dorothy (Mrs. Lyle Slater) of Ailsa Craig, Carl, of London, Bill of Calgary and Wayne of Hearst. He was also a brother of Don of Harriston, Jim of Stratford, Betty, (Mrs. Harold Smith) of Wardsville, John of Ripley and predeceased by Bob. Mr. Dodds is survived by 11 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday February 24 from the T. Stephenson Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig, by Rev. F. Ralph. Interment was in the Carlisle Cemetery. ROY F. PEPPER Roy F. Pepper, passed away on Friday, February 21, in Clinton in his 30th year. He is survived by his wife, Elma (Crich) Pepper, four daughters; Mrs. Harold (Viola) Taylor of Seaforth, Mrs. Percy (Edith) Rutter of Bloomfield, Mrs. Frank (Eleanor) Falconer of RR 5 Clinton, Mrs., William (Gladys) Riehl of Clinton; three sons, Harold of Clinton, Norman of RR I Hensall, and Clifford of RR 1 Dashwood; one sister, Mrs. Howard Crich, Clinton; 22 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. GORDON FREDERICK WELLS Gordon Frederick Wells, of 550 Morning Ave., London, passed away at Westminster Hospital, London on Monday, February 17 in his 77th year. He was the husband of Mrs. Idella Sarah (Davis) Wells; father of Mrs. Robert (Caroline) Burns, Min- nette; brother of Ernest John, Laverne, Nelson and Mrs. Lloyd (Verdun) Lindenfield, all of Exeter, and Mrs. Golda Tyler of Dashwood. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery, London. JOHNSTON PATTERSON Johnston Patterson, of Beach O'Fines, RR 2 Grand Bend, died in Stephen Township on Tuesday, February 25, in his 64th year. He was the husband of Jean E. Paul; father of Nancy of Sarnia, Donna and Donald, at home; brother of Kenneth, Ray, Mrs, Wellwood (Alice) Gill, all of Grand Bend, (Marjorie) Mrs, R.L. Knight, of London, (Mary) Mrs. Irvin Rader of Dashwood, Mae Pat- terson of Newmarket and predeceased by Garnet in 1974. Funeral services for Mr. Pat- terson will be held from the T. L .HENDERSON William Lloyd Henderson, born in East Luther Township in 1906, died suddenly on February 18 at his late residence Andrew Street in Exeter, Ontario. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Henderson. Mr. Henderson received his early education in Dufferin County and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queen's University' in Kingston: He taught public school for two years at S.S. No. 1 East Luther Township, six years at Tara Continuation School, 20 years at Grand Valley Continuation School and 12 years at South Huron District High School in Exeter retiring in 1967 after 40 years in the teaching profession. , On August 9, 1933 Mr. Hen- derson was married to Alma Hilborn in Grand Valley and he is - survived by his wife Alma, four children: Irwin of Orangeville, Cecil of Toronto, Howard of London, and Shirley (Mrs. Lorne Dundas) of London; six grand- children: Nancy, Lisa and Linda Henderson, Neil Hen- derson, and Brian and Laurie Dundas; and his only sister Lillian (Mrs, George .Hills) of Toronto. Mr. Henderson was active in community affairs and was a member of Exeter United Church and Lebanon Masonic Lodge at the time of his death. Funeral services were held at the Dinney Funeral Home in Exeter on February 20 with Rev. Glen Wright and Rev. Harold Snell officiating and at the Sime Funeral Home in Grand Valley on February 21 with Rev. John Huether officiating. A Masonic Service was also held at 9 p.m. on February 20 at the Dinney Funeral Home. Pall bearers at the Exeter service were: Stan Love, Nelson Squire, Ken Bridges, Bruce' Cann, Carfrey Cann and Tom Yearley. Interment will be in Grand Valley Union Cemetery in the spring. COLLIN EARL WILSON Collin Earl Wilson, of 163 Front St., Strathroy; died as a result of a car accident on Saturday February 22, in his 66th year. Born in Stephen Township, near Grand Bend, he was the brother of Mrs. George (Cora) Conklin of Durand, Michigan. Funeral services from the T.
