Dog control problems in
Usborne Township are not
numerous enough to justify ,a
share in the employment of a full
time officer, That was the opinion
of Deputy Reeve William Morley
at the February council meeting.
Mr. Morley was reporting on an
area meeting hosted by Stephen
Township on January 29,
A motion was passed, however,

not raised, but in 1976 the rates be
doubled.

$12,300 to fund the Keller Drain
was given final approval.

procedures be taken to formally
close the unopened road
allowance between Lots 17 and 18
N.E.B, Concession as well as
between Lots E. Concession nine
and Lot 21 S.E.B.Concession.
An application was made to the
Ministry of Transportation and
Communication for the balance
of the subsidy on the 1974 ex-
penditure of $118,068,52 on roads.
A motion was made and passed
that the road superintendent be
instructed to purchase a new
mower and a roll bar, canopy and
upright muffler for the tractor.
Subject to the approval of the
Ministry of Transportation and
Communication, the 1975
gravelling contract was awarded
to R. H. Jennison Ltd. of Grand
Bend. The estimated costs of the
service is $20,220. The Jennison
tender was the lowest of four at
$1.17 per cubic yard.
The road department account
of $9,003.34 presented by the Road
Superindendent was moved to be
paid.
Also passed for payment was
the monthly general account of
$23,660.34.
Councillor John Stewart moved
that bylaws be prepared to
licence the unassessed trailers in
the municipality.
Approval was given for the
amount of $6,750 for a tile
drainage loan.

Exeter sports complex and a
view to make improvements to
the hall entrance were brought
before council by separate ladies
groups.
