Brenda Lew has registered and is attending Adult Educational School in London. Larry Lewis and Mr. C. Holmes have been in Vancouver for three weeks and will be returning home this week. Mrs. R. Centre on IMonday for an afternoon of crokinole and cards followed by lunch: The seniors provided the sandwiches and the U.C.W. served cake and ice cream as a birthday treat for William Haddick and Cecil Skinner. DAVID KESTLE St. James Anglican ladies have a quilting project on the go. January 30,, the ladies had their A.C.W. meeting in the church basement with ten members and Rev. Hofland present. Mrs. C. Carter, gave a reading on St. Valentine. The ladies are planning a project for 75 - a recipe book, through the Gateway Publishing Co. Plans were made to hold another euchre party on February 12. Rev. Hofland closed the meeting with prayer and Nancy St. Pierre and Pat Hodgins were hostesses. Annual meeting Sunday morning church ser- vice and the annual meeting were combined. Rev. Madden chaired the meeting after the regular church service. Mrs. G. Lynn was elected secretary. The minutes were read, corrected and approved. Old business was taken care of, new business set the Anniversary Service for first or last Sunday in May. Debbie Lynn retained her place as pianist and choir leader. Mrs. J, Donaldson is, the custodian for 1975. All members of session were returned to office, as were the Stewards with Ralph Lynn as chairman. Gary Donaldson is treasurer for this charge, Jeannette Simpson remains the superin- tendent of the Sunday School. After the meeting was ad- journed, coffee and a light lunch were served. Personals Archie Robertson has accepted a position in Ayr, as assistant pastor in the church there, Eleanor Kestle enjoyed lunch with Mrs. H. Dettmer Exeter, Tuesday and a pleasant af- ternoon with Grace Farquhar and Doris Dettmer.
