Mr. & Mrs. John Rodd, Pamela and Calvin and Mr. & Mrs. George Wheeler and Mr'. Clarence Fletcher visited on Sun- day with Mr. & Mrs. Elliott McRoberts of Exeter. Mr. & Mrs. Fred Parkinson, Margaret and Janet spent last weekend in Capreol with Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Lemieux and Mrs. K. Cacciotti and attended the 35th wedding anniversary celebration for Mrs, Parkinson's brother and wife, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Mazzei in Sudbury. The March of Dimes Ability Fund reminds us that everyone should be immunized Former resident passes away Mrs. Marion Jane Thorneloe, formerly of Goderich and Hensall passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, London on Sunday, January 26 in her 45th year. She was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. W. A, MacLaren, of Goderich formerly of Hensall and spent her earlier years here where she received her education. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Winston (Anne) Powell, Seaforth and Mary at home. Funeral service was held on Wednesday January 29 from the Stiles Funeral Home, Goderich. Ken MacLean, who was a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter returned to his home this week. Mrs. Clarence Smillie, who was a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter, returned to her home. Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Poole, Eric and Craig of Chatham were Saturday guests with Mr. & Mrs. Sim Roobal, Mrs. Anthony Van Dyke of Three Rivers, Quebec, who has been a house guest for ten days with Mr. & Mrs. Sim Roobal, returned with Mr. & Mrs. Poole to Chatham before leaving for Quebec. While in Ontario, Mrs. Van Dyke visited in Wyoming, Goderich, Seaforth and Wood- stock. The annual meeting of the sponsoring body, the Hensall South Huron Agricultural Society was held Thursday at the IOOF rooms in Hensall. William Coleman was elected president to replace the retiring Grant McGregor. The vice- presidents are Jack Kinsman and Bruce Rathwell. The secretary- treasurer is Mrs. Grant McGregor. Mrs. McGregor replaces Peter McNaughton who held the position for the past 15 years, To show appreciation for the many years of service, a Board past president John Corbett presented McNaughton with a pen and pencil set. Boys and girls from six townships in the district are now feeding calves to be shown at the 1975 fair.
