CGIT meet
at Centralia

The CGIT meeting in the
schoolroom of the United Church
Tuesday evening opened with a
hymn and the member's purpose.
Mrs, Beaton led the Worship
service and conducted the
games. Linda Wilson and
Darlene Knee were the leaders
for the sing song.
The meeting ended with taps
and the benediction.
Senior Citizens meet
On Monday the Senior Citizens
met in the Community Centre for
an afternoon of cards and
crokinole, followed by lunch and
a social time.
Euchre party
Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Hirtzel
and Mr. & Mrs. John Carrington
were in charge of the euchre
party in the Community Centre
on Monday night. Prize winners
were ladies high score, Mrs. Jack
Essery; lone hands, Mrs. Carol
Westlake; low, Marg Cook.
Men's high, Earl Lewis; lone
hands, Percy Noels; low, Chas.
Rollings. Mrs. Bob Blair was the
winner of the hidden score.
Mr. & Mrs. Frank Hicks and
Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Lightfoot will

Sympathy of this community is
extended to Doug and Ann
Russell in the sudden death of
their baby son.
Funeral services were held
Monday for Christopher Russell,
age 3 months twin son of Mr. &
Mrs. Doug Russell. He passed
away suddenly at the family
home on January 18.
He is survived by his.. twin
