The UCW meeting was held
Wednesday evening at the home
of Mrs. Jack Trevithick. Hymn
"Standing at the Portal" and "All
beautiful the March of Days"
were sung followed by the
devotional taken from Matthew
"The .Good Employer" by Mrs.
Harvey Steeper,
Mrs, Dyck read "The land of
the beginning again." The story
"It happens . Every year" by
Wilbur Howard, the new
moderator given by Mrs. William
Fenton followed by a reading
"Life is made up of new begin-
nings" by Mrs. Trevithick.
Mrs, George Lee took over
for the business. Roll call was
answered by 11 members. The
1974 treasurer's report was given
by Mrs. Jack Hodgson, Lunch
was served by Group 2 ladies.

wedding anniversary.

Russell Scott held from the Gilpin
Funeral Home, Thedford,
Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. & Mrs. William Wasnidge
arrived home Saturday from a
two week vacation in Florida,
Mr. & Mrs. George Prest at-
tended the funeral Thursday
afternoon of Mrs. Harvey Duncias
who had previously lived in this
area and passed away in
Leamington Nursing Home. The
funeral was held from Dutton
Funeral Home. Interment was in
Fingal Cemetery,
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Lewis and Mr,
& Mrs. Paul Hodgson were
Sunday dinner guests with Mr. &
Mrs, Harvey Morley.
Euchre party

veners for the euchre party
Friday night at Brinsley Corn-

Hollings.
