of a husband and father, Byron Des
Jardine, who passed away five years
ago January 14.
Cone is the face we loved so dear
Silent is the voice we loved to hear

dear,
Always remembered by Audrey
and children. 2p

Horrell, who passed away one year

But we remember when others forget

Death is a going home. It is a door

Our smiles hide, all the while.

Three join
RAP group
Dave Zyluk, who was defeated
in a bid to-become a member of
Exeter council, will be one of
three new members on RAP
when that committee meets next
week.
He will replace John Stephens,
who has recently been named
chairman of the committee in-
vestigating the, possibility of a
sports complex to serve South
Huron.
Other new members on RAP
will be the two council ap-
pointments, Lossy Fuller and
Derry Boyle.
Boyle has served on the
committee previously.
Other members named to RAP
are incumbents Gord Baynham,
Ruth Durand, Bob Pooley and
Jack Underwood.
Baynham, who has served as
chairman, attended Monday's
inaugural of council and
presented a written seven-page
report on the past year's ac-
tivities.
He noted that many of the
recommendations outlined by the
special committee investigating
RAP's operations had been
carried out in the past year.
"We have been restructured
into a viable, accountable
committee," he informed
council, "much to the satisfaction
of the committee."
"We have a much better
recreation, arena and parks
committee program than we've
ever had before," he added.
Baynham outlined that further
changes would take place in the
year ahead and stated several
improvements would be noted in
the programs.
He said RAP also hoped to
solve the parking problem at the
arena and Riverview park and
also hoped to get more co-
operation from residents outside
the community who participate
in local programs.
