IN MEMORIAM—
KIRK — In loving memory of dear
husband and father, Lewis Kirk, who
passed away one year ago,
November 30, 1973.
God looked around His garden
And found an empty space
He then looked down upon this earth
And saw your tired face.
Heput his arms around you
And lifted you to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
And he knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well upon this earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered Peace be Thine. a
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
Sadly missed by loving wife, sons
daughters and grandchildren. 48p
KIRK — In loving memory of dear
father and grandfather, Lewis, who
passed away November 30, 1973.
If only we could see you Dad
Your hand we could but touch
And hear you say hello to us
Things wouldn't hurt so much.
Our hearts still ache with sadness
Our eyes shed many a tear
Only God knows how much we miss
you
And wish that you were here.
Sadly missed by your family, sons
and daughters-in-law and
grandchildren. 48p
MacDONALD — In loving memory
of a dear dad and morn, Ted and
Edna MacDonald, who passed away
November 22, 1972.
Dear Dad and Mom, you are not
forgotten
Though on earth you are no more
Still in memory you are with us
As you always were before.
Sadly missed by sons Tony, Terry,
daughters Trudee, Teresa and
Tracy. 48p
MacDONALD — In loving memory
of a dear son and daughter-in-law

Of happy clays when we were all
together. •
Always remembered and sadly

MacDONALD — In loving memory
of a dear brother Edward Norman
(Ted) and sister-in-law Edna Joyce
who passed away two years ago,
November 22, 1972,
The sad lonely years have passed
Since that great sorrow fell
The shock that we received that day
No one can ever tell.
Your end came so sad and sudden
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
Only God knows the reason why.
Your golden hearts stopped beating
Two working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
We cannot forget your smiling faces
Your happy carefree ways
The smiles that won so many friends
In the happy bygone days.
So this month comes with deep regret
For it brings back a day we cannot
forget,
You left so suddenly without a good-
bye
But memories of you will never die,
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
Because part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by sister Mary, 48p
MacDONALD — In loving memory
of a very dear sister, sister-in-law,
brother-in-law, Edna and Ted, who
left us two years ago, November 22,
1972.
It seems like only yesterday
That God had taken you away
But your golden hearts will always
stay
With thoughts of those who loved you
in every way.
Ever remembered and sadly miss-
ed by' sister, sister-in-law, and
brother-in-law, Ella and Willis and
nephew Ray. 48c

To an uncle and aunt we'll never
forget
Your memory to us is a treasure
Your loss a lifetime regret
The sweet sound of your laughter
The sunshine of your smile
These are memories we treasure
And think of all the while.
We know the meaning of sorrow
We know what its like to cry
But the day we lost you, Ted and
Edna,
We knew how it felt to die.

Board plans
aims change
Middlesex County Board of
Education this week moved to
revise its statement of aims and
objectives. It authorized a study
of its present statement which
was formulated in 1969 and
adopted the following year.
A committee of parents,
teachers, students, trustees and
school administrators will revise
the statement, seek public
reaction to its proposal and
present it to the Board.
The Board also approved for
this school year a student aide
program for Strathroy schools.
Approximately twenty-five
students from Strathroy District
Collegiate Institute will assist
elementary school teachers by
tutoring pupils and supervising
group work.
The secondary school students
will not miss any of their own
classes and will require parents'
permission to take part in the
program.
A similar program has
operated successfully for the past
two years at North Middlesex
District High School with
students helping at Parkhill
Memorial School.
In other business, the Board
ratified the appointment of John
F. McLean as Physical and
Health Education Consultant,
starting in January 1975. Mr.
McLean, now on the staff of
Montcalm Secondary School,
London has taught in elementary
and secondary schools for nine
years. He is president of the
London Coaches' Association this
year.
