Gary Connolly and Jim Benn scored the early third period goals for Lucan to move ahead 7- 5. Brion Penhale scored for Exeter at 4.11 of the final session but the locals could not get the equalizer. Jim Benn was the top Lucan scorer with three goals in the first period in addition to his third period score. Also counting for the Irish in the initial session were Ken Anderson and Pat Holland. Council this week .approved a bill, in the amount of42;840.73 for major. repairs to the vehicle. The estimate had been around $2,000 but works superintendent Glenn Kells indicated more work had to be done than originally planned. The truck was purchased about 20 months ago by council for $2,250. David Shaw was the top marksmen for the Broncos with three goals, all coming on unassisted efforts. The fourth Exeter marker was shot by John Kernick with assists going to Scott Pincombe and Bill Glover. Broncos blow The Lucan-Ilderton Jets with an excellent all-round team effort scored a 3-0 victory over the London Kings in OHA Senior Continental play Sunday af- ternoon. The score went to a 2-0 at 1,21 of the second period when Bill Fairbairn scored after being taking a pass from speedy Steve Proctor who gained a breakaway.
