Hensall Village council learned
Monday night that the Ministry of
the Environment is satisfied with
the facilities at the dump and that
the sewer project for the village
has been approved by the OMB
and should get started next year.
Mr. Corbett suggested that
council do the Richmond Drain
with the sewer project and
recommended that they retain
the services of Burns Ross.
It was agreed to pay half of the
cost of jackets for firemen,
amounting to $67 and also to sell
lamp brackets not being used for
$15.
Council was asked, in a letter
from Garry Davidson, for
suggestions regarding building
permit forms. The County would
like to have a uniform building
form throughout the county.
Council is satisfied with the form
they are using.
Inquiries were made as to when
the official plan for the village of
Hensall was coming.
