1. The Municipal voters' lists for the Township of Tuckersmith
as finally revised for municipal purposes on the 1st day of
November, 1974, are to be the lists of voters for the pur-
pose of the Liquor Licence Act Vote being held on the
2nd Day of December, 1974
2. Every person entitled to vote is the person who at the time
of voting
(a) has attained eighteen years of age;
(b) is a Canadian citizen or other British subject;
(c) is not disqualified or otherwise prohibited by law
from voting;
(d) has had continuous residence within the Municipality
of Tuckersmith for two months up to and including
polling day.
3. A person resident in any polling subdivision whose name
has not been included or has been incorrectly included in
the, list of voters for such subdivision may apply to the
returning officer to have his name included in the list or
cause the entry in the list relating to him, to be corrected.

voters, as directed by the Chief Electoral Office, I shall be
at my office at Lot 22, Con. 3, HRS, Township of
Tuckersmith on
Saturday, November 16, 1974
between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. at the Clerk's Office
4. A person who is not included on the lists referred to above
as finally revised but who is qualified to vote at the Liquor
Licence Act Vote may do so by being vouched for by
someone who is on the list for the same polling subdivision
(Section 78 of the Election Ad, Province of Ontario.)

The cubs were out in full
uniform. Saturday selling apples
for their annual Apple Drive.
They canvassed Granton and the
surrounding area having a
marvellous day realizing $100.00
after expenses were paid.

Cubs and Scouts held their first
meeting last Monday evening in
the United Church basement.
They were delighted to have two
guest speakers Mr, .Frank
Shoebottom, troop leader and
Mrs. Joyce Hutchison president
of the Ladies Auxiliary both from
the Bryanston pack.
Their next meeting will be
planning for the father and son
banquet.

Halloween dance
The Granton Community
Recreation Association held a
Halloween Dance Saturday
evening in the Forrester's Hall.
Winners for the best dressed men
were Richard Kloss, Chuck
Lemmon and Chum Hayden.
The best dressed women in
costume were Mrs, Bruce Nixon,
Mrs. Ron Mills, and Mrs.
Laurence Ready. The evening
concluded with a delicious pot
luck supper.
Open house
Mr. & Mrs. Percy Hodgins held
an open house to view the gifts in
honour of their daughter
Marlene's forthcoming marriage
to Mr. Joe French, Many friends
and relatives called between 2-5
in the afternoon.
4-H News
The fifth meeting of the
Granton 4-H was held Saturday at
the home of Ferne Mardlin. They
opened the meeting with the 4-H
pledge and eleven members
answered the roll call.
Their meeting was on party
ideas, invitations, replies,
decoration, themes, etc.
Members of the committee
planning a party to end the last
meeting filled the other members
in on what they had decided.
Susan Riddell was the secretary
and press reporter for meeting
five.
