The marriage of Iris Isobel Alexander and Wayne Clifford Payne took
place at Hensall United Church, September 28, with Rev, Donald Beck
officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Alexander, Hensall
and the late William John Alexander, The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Payne, Hensall. The bride was attended by Roberta Neil,
London as maid of honour and the bride's sister Joan Alexander of
Henson as bridesmaid. The best man was William Tinney, Hensall and
the guests were ushered by the bride's brother, Paul Alexander and
Steve Payne, cousin of the groom. After a wedding trip to Northern
Michigan and Ontario the couple will reside in London,

St. Patrick's Church in St. Joseph was decorated with bouquets
gladiolas and mums for the October 19 wedding of Elizabeth Vermont
to Gary Masse. Rev. Father J, J. Bensette officiated. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marinus Vermont of RR 2 Zurich and the
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Masse, Grand Bend. Mrs, Joanne
Stady, sister of the bride was the matron of honour and the
bridesmaids were Mary Ann Vermont, sister of the bride and Beverly
Masse, sister of the groom, Danny Masse,brother of the groom was the
best man and guests were ushered by Dave Desjardine of Grand Bend
and Walter Vermont, brother of the bride. After a wedding trip to

MR. AND MRS. MICHAEL FENNER
Zion United Church, New Hamburg was the setting of the October 5
wedding of Jane Ann Brintnell and Michael Fenner. The bride is the
daughter of Mr, and Mrs. John Brintnell of Baden and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs, Ronald Fenner of Mississauga, Janet Dales of
Prescott was the maid of honour and Ron Van der Madden was the
best man. The wedding party included Nelson McHenry, Marie
Ferguson, sister of the groom, Greg Ferguson, brother-in-law of the
groom, Kathy Brintnell, sister of the bride, George Saiidis, Susan
Brintnell, the bride's sister-in-law, and Roger Brintnell, brother of the
bride. The newly weds spent their honeymoon in Quebec city and are
now residing in Toronto.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Zurich was the setting for the October 18
wedding of Doris Doreen Webb to Joseph Wragg with Pastor Andrew
Blackwell officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn
Webb, RR 2 Dashwood, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert W.r,agdA, Beeter. Mrs. Anne Schelde, sister of the bride Was the.;
matron of honour and bridesmaids were Mari Green, Huron Park and
Cathy Hayes, Toronto and flower girl was Karen Schade, niece of the
bride. Gregg Wragg, brother of the groom was the best man and

WMC hold mother-
daughter banquet
The Pentecostal WMC held
their annual mother and
daughter banquet in the
basement of the church on Friday
night.
After supper, president, Mrs.
Keith McLaren led in some
choruses. A quartet, comprised
of Mrs. Don Jolly and daughters
Elizabeth and Kathy and her
sister Miss M. Triebner, who also
accompanied on the piano, sang a
song.
Michele and Ann Triebner sang
a duet with their mother, Mrs. G.
Triebner on the piano. Another
duet was sung by Mrs. R. Falkner
of Harriston, and Mrs. 'B.
Colbourne with Mrs. N. Tait on
the piano.
