FOR 1974
of the Municipality of the
VILLAGE OF HENSALL
This preliminary list of all Electors prepared as required
by Section 23 of the Municipal Elections Act 1972 will be
publicly posted in the Office of the Municipal Clerk on the
24th day of October 1974 at 10:00 a.m.
Electors should examine the list to ensure that their
names and relevant information are correctly shown.
Complaints in the nature of requests for additions or
corrections to or deletions from the list may be made by an
elector completing and filing a form obtainable at the Office
of the Clerk.
The last day for filing forms, requesting additions, cor-
rections or deletions is November 1st, 1974.

The Chiselhurst UCW held their
October meeting with Mary Cole
in charge of the Thanksgiving
Worship Service. She had as her
theme, "Think and thank". Mary
Brintnell assisted her by reading
the scripture,.
Mary Brintnell read a poem
entitled "Mother Shipton's
Prophecy". The roll call was
answered by 19 members with a
continuous reading of a. Bible
verse.
A thank-you note was read
from the family of the late May
McLellan, The visiting com-
mittee for the following months
will be Dorothy Brintnell and
Dorothy Parker,
An executive meeting was held
at the home of Rosa Harris on
October 18.

The Thanksgiving meeting of Thirty-three visits were made
the Arnold Circle Evening during the month, Mrs, Wm.

in blind canvass
Eric Luther advises that many
rural area residents have not as
yet mailed to him their donations
for the Canadian National

returned home after spending a

spent the weekend visiting with
his mother Mrs. Laird Mickle.

Harold L. Willard of 8
Cavendish Crescent, London
passed away Thursday October
17th in St. Joseph's. Hospital in his
48th year,
Son of Ezra Willard and the late
Mrs. Willard, the deceased was
born in Hensall where he spent
his childhood and youth,
Surviving is his wife Mrs. Edith
(Parkins) Willard, a son Lyle
Willard, Port Burwell, and a
daughter Ruth Anne at home,
Father Ezra Willard and a
brother Donald of Russelldale,
He was predeceased by a son
Billy (1958).
Funeral services were held
from the Needham Memorial
chapel, London on Saturday
October 19, Rev, James Bryson of
Empress United Church of-
ficiated.
Interment was in Mt, Pleasant
Cemetery.

arrange for party
Meeting five of the 4-H Club
Hensall II Group was held at the
United Church Hensall Tuesday
night.
The meeting opened with the 4-
H pledge and the roll call was
answered.
Different invitations and
replies were discussed and also
the planning of a "Come as you
are" party, at the end of the VIII
meeting. Cookies and cakes
baked by the 4-H members were
sampled.
The next meeting will be held
at the United Church.

bazaar successful
Theregular meeting of the St.
Paul's A.C.W. was held Thursday
afternoon in the basement of the
Church. The president, Mrs.
Anderson read the call to worship
and the Litany. The roll call was
answered by a scripture "Har-
vest" verse, keeping
Thanksgiving in mind.
Plans were finalized for the
bazaar, bake sale and tea which
was held on Saturday and it was
reported, to have been a real
success, Mrs. Anderson closed
the meeting with prayer.

At a Sunday School teachers
meeting last Wednesday evening,
it was decided for a trial period,
that Sunday Church Sessions
would be extended fifteen
minutes to 12:15. This trial period
starts on October 27,
