Pentecostal Holiness
The singing at the morning
service was led by Bill Cochrane
and Rev. Ray Brewster spoke
from John 4, saying that when we
have met Jesus and accepted
Him we should be so happy, we
tell others to "Come see a man",
as the woman of Samaria did.
At the evening service the roles
were reversed with Mr. Brewster
leading the singing and Bill
giving the message. Speaking
from 2nd Corinthians 6 he said
that, when we become Christians,
the old life dies out because of
Jesus dying for us, and we take
on a new life.
A very special "Homecoming"
service of worship will be held
next Sunday evening at 7 p.m.
when the Rev. Fred P. Thomson,
a former pastor of Foothills Bible
Institute, Winfield, Alberta, and
the Western Conference
Superintendent, will be the guest
speaker. Everyone is invited to
come and renew their friendship
with Mr, Thomson and his
family.
