Evelyn, Viola and Manuel Cutts, Mr. & Airs. Lawrence Cutts, Grand Bend and Mr. & Mrs. Ken :Smithers, London at- tended the Lempke family reunion near Richmond Michigan on Saturday. Mr. & Mrs. Willis Brophey, Blenheim visited with relatives in the area on the weekend. Hugh and Hazel Larkin. Windsor visited recently with the latter's mother Mrs. Grace Stewardson. The sympathy of this com- munity is extended to the family of the late Arthur Hodgins, Sr., who died in St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday. Afterwards they were invited to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Murray Gibson where they entertained in honor of Mrs. Elston's birthday. Guests present were Rev. & Mrs. Ma thers, UC Church Bryanston, Mr. Wm. H. Lam- bourn London; Mr. & Mrs. Elliot McRoberts Exeter; Clarence Fletcher, Woodham, Mrs. John McAllister. Stephen and Scott McAllister who were visiting with their grandparents for a weekend attended the Heywood Reunion on Saturday. A surprise Birthday party in honor of Mrs. Elston was given at her home on Friday afternoon by a few friends from Centralia and Lucan. Also present was Mrs. Elva Godbolt of Listowel. Mr. & Mrs. M. H Elston were birthday supper guests of Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis on Sunday, also Mr. & Mrs. Jim Barker Lucan. Mrs. Barker's birthday was July 19th, Mrs. Elston's niece and Mrs. Elston's were July 20th, Personals On Sunday evening Mrs. Black- well (nee Vera Heywood) Petrolia, Lieutenant Col. Lila Heywood Washington D.C., also Miss Hazel Heywood of Detroit called on Mr. & Mrs. John McAllister. Mr. & Mrs. Sam Skinner and Diane attended the Skinner Reunion held at St. Pauls near Stratford on Sunday. Mr. & Mrs. Bill Quinton visited with Mrs. Geo. McFalls on Tuesday. Mr. & Mrs. John Dickey, Debbie and Chuck visited Niagara Falls on a bus trip with their local rabbit club. Marineland was the main at- traction. Mr. & Mrs. Ed Nethercott and Timmy visited relatives in Orillia last week. . Shelley Weber and Kathleen Gielen attended the four-day 4-H Conference at the University of Guelph recently. The Gideons represented by Don Jolly. Exeter and Harry Hoffman, Dashwood conducted the morning service in Zion United Church Sunday. Mr. Hoffman sang two solos. Mr. & Mrs. Emmery Fahrner holidayed with Major and Mrs. Robert Palmer and family at the Palmer cottage, Trenton. Major and Mrs. Palmer brought them home Wednesday. Mr. & Mrs. Robert Greenwood, Martha, Adrian and Michael, Don Mills, spent several days with Mr. & Mrs. William Oestricher last week.
