HAROLD DAVIS William Scott had the misfortune to fall and break a hip and is in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mrs. William Scott is in St. Marys Memorial Hospital. Lloyd Webber, RR 1 Woodham, was the winner of the portable radio draw sponsored by the Blanshard Midget Boys Ball Club, The draw was made at Kirkton Athletic Field Tuesday July 9. Rev. & Mrs. Hopkins of Bowmanville are visiting with Rev. & Mrs, T. A. Elliott. Richards and family motored to Beaverton Saturday and'spent the weekend with Mr. Richard's parents. Maria Richards stayed in Beaverton for two weeks holidays. The family was celebrating their father's bir- thday on Sunday, Brenda Scott and three friends spent the weekend camping. Mrs. G. Leger and Karen Huron Park are visiting with Mr. & Mrs. A. Lewis for a couple of days. Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Millson had a pleasant surprise on Friday when their grandidaughter and her husband Mr. & Mrs. W. Bastert , Galt dropped in for a visit on their return from Manitoulin Island. They spent the night .with the Millsons. Peggy Bastert spent the week in Aylmer with her aunt and uncle Mr. & Mrs. Wrouters. Middlesex County Scholarship was awarded to Susan Hardy for top marks in the Animal Health Technology course at Centralia Agriculture College. Congratulations are in order for Susan who will be returning to Centralia to finish her course in September. Reynold Rash lost control of his bicycle in loose gravel and it took 8 stitches to close the gash below his knee. Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Lynn are coming along very well with their new home. They are building north of their present home. Pee Wee kids took a trouncing Monday night when Lieury took over and won easily 28 to 10. Joanne Carter is visiting with Mr. & Mrs. John Simpson and Paul at Kirkton, Mr. & Mrs. Pete Groenewegen, Marilyn, Paul and their guests from Holland spent several days sightseeing in Niagara Falls and Hamilton.
