Injuries suffered in
tractor shed blaze

CLANDEBOYE
The full tank of gasoline was
the only thing, left in Wilfred
Cunningham's driving shed
Wednesday afternoon when he
went to take the tractor out.
He started it and noticed
flames around the floor. When he
tried to extinguish the blaze the
tractor stalled and the fire had
made too much headway,
The Lucan Fire Department
answered the call but could only
try to keep other buildings from
catching on fire,
Wilfred burned his hands and
lost a number of farm im-
plements and tools.
Saturday neighbours and
family helped with the clean up.
