Granton cubs attend camporee,
scouts planning paper drive
sale and brought the total amount
in the Trinidad Fund to $108.83..
This money will assist needy
children there. There will be no
Sunday School classes for the
month of July, however, at-
tendance will be counted.
Friday night they played
Fullarton at Fullarton Com-
munity ball park and emerged
the winners the final score being
10-5. Come out and support this
excellent ladies softball team.
They play every Thursday
night at Granton ball park under
the lights starting at 8 p.m.

to St. Joseph's Hospital where
she will undergo surgery

and is confined to his home.

Twelve boys from the Granton
cub pack attended a cuboree at
St. Marys Wildwood park. The
cubs led by leaders Doreen
McRobert and Juanita Westman
received first for the neatest
camp site.

Frances Thomson took off from
London Airport this weekend
their destination being Calgary,
They plan on attending the
Calgary stampede during their
two week holiday.

The junior girls' ball team
coached by Nancy Marshall and
Sharon Mardlin didn't fare too
well this past week. Monday
night at Elimville the local girls
were beaten by a score of 25-19.
Thursday night at Cromarty
ball park the girls from Hibbert
beat them in a close game 22-20.
The senior girls' ball team
coached by .Kevin O'Connor did
much better. Sporting new
uniforms "green trimmed with
yellow" they defeated Kirkton 29-
6 Thursday night at Granton ball
park.
