Among the Hurons to see the
reconstructed quarters of the
Jesuit Priests.
An introductory film provides
much needed background in-
formation to enjoy the tour to an
even greater extent and again the
trip reminded us of life in earlier
and harder times.
This reconstructed layout is an
educational outing that could not
be duplicated by even reading
through several books and it is
certainly a tour that everyone
can enjoy,
Costumed staff members
depict some of the activities that
took place at Sainte-Marie when
it was a hive of activity.
The museum here is possibly
one of the most enlightening we
have ever visited as buttons can
be punched to activate tapes
which tell in words some of the
things you are seeing.
Huronia abounds in other
tourist attractions and makes one
realize how well the residents and
government of Ontario have
assumed the responsibility of
recreating our history,
It is a history that comes to life
and even our three-year-old has
been surprising us with the
amount of knowledge he gained
on the trip. Our neighbors can tell
you he'll bend your ear as long as
you want to sit and listen.

Henry: My brother shaves fifty
times a day,.
Harry: IS he crazy?
Henry: No, he's a barber!
