Mrs Stephen Meindinger and
St, Boniface Choir supplied the
music,
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a floor
length gown of silk organza with.
guipure lace accenting the high
neckline, empire look, wrist
length sleeves and also the
hemline of the gown sweeping to
a chapel length train, A floral
closter held in place her
matching, lace edge, illusion
veil, She carried a cascade of red
sweetheart roses, white daisies
and pink stephanotis encircled
with a white orchid.
Jane Glavin, sister of the
groom, was maid of honour and
bridesmaids were Marlene
Heckler, friend of the bride,
Helen Glavin, sister of the groom
and Janet Oesch, sister of the
bride.
The maid of honour and
bridesmaids were all dressed
alike in floor length gowns of
pink and blue voile-en-organza
splashed with dainty flowers.
Short sleeves, empire waistline
and a scoop neckline accented
their dresses, They carried
nosegays of white, pink and blue
daisies and pink carnations,
Similar flowers were worn in
their hair.
Gerard Glavin, cousin of the
groom, was best man and the
guests were ushered by Eugene
McDonald and Leo Glavin,
cousins of the groom, and Paul
Glavin, brother of the groom,
The reception and dance was
held in the Dashwood Community
Centre with the Heywood
Brothers providing the music.
For travelling to the Eastern
States and Maritime Provinces,
the bride chose a navy and white
pant suit, white accessories and a
corsage of red carnations,
The couple are residing at RR
8, Parkhill, Ontario.

In a recent ceremony at Trivitt
Memorial Anglican Church,
Sandra Runalls, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Denis N. Runalls,
Huron Park, exchanged wedding
vows with Larry Stephen Lichty,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake S.
Lichty of Forest.
The Rev. George Anderson
officiated and Bob and Elizabeth
O'Neil of Warwick sang.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a polyester
sateen gown she had made. It
was trimmed with yellow daisies
matching her bouquet. A Juliet
cap was her headpiece ending in
a long full veil.
Maid of honor, Evelyn Gilliland,
Forest and the bridal attendants,
Kim and Cindy Lichty wore
matching long pale yellow
dresses with white picture hats.
They carried white parasbls
filled with daisies.
The best man was Charles
Mallon and ushers were Paul
Runalls and Greg Lichty. The
bride's seven-year-old brother
Clive was the ringbearer in the
double ring ceremony.
Relatives of the bride from
England were present.
The reception was in the Dash-
wood Community Centre,
Afterwards the couple left for a
wedding trip to Nova Scotia,
Both are third year students at
the University of Western
Ontario acd will live in Loden.

Church, Exeter, Dianne
Wilhelxnina Neevel, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John Neevel, RR 2
Hensall, exchanged wedding
vows with Kenneth Charles
Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gerald Turner, Belleville,
The ceremony took place June
7 with Rev. Henry Van Essen
officiating and Mrs. Veflinga
providing the music.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor
length gown of satapeau with
cluney lace accenting the high
neckline, sleeves and cuffs. Lace
trim also outlined the V bodice,
hemline and detachable semi-
cathedral train.
A Juliette cap held her illusion
veil with matching lace in place.
She carried a cascade of pink
sweetheart roses with baby's
breath and trailing ivy:,‘
The maid of honour,
Marguerite Martin wore a yellow
gored skirt of swiss dot with
flocked flowers. She wore a
picture hat with an accenting
yellow band and carried a
nosegay of white mums trimmed
with yellow satin ribbon and
strawflowers.
The bridesmaids were Wilma
and Evelyn Neevel, sisters of the
bride, They wore identical floor
length gowns and picture hats
similar to the maid of honours in
pink and blue.
The best man was Gary
Chayko, London and guests were
ushered by Randy Turner,
brother of the groom and Henry
Neevel, brother of the bride.
The wedding reception was
held in Holmesville White Car-
nation Hall, For a wedding trip to
the Bahamas, the bride wore a
beige pant suit with matching
accessories. The groom wore a
beige safari spring suit.
The couple will reside in

gathered at the Kirkton-
Woodham Community Centre
Friday night to help Otis and
Gladys Sawyer celebrate their
50th Anniversary. Everyone
enjoyed the fellowship, the music
and the dancing.
The couple was married on
June 21, 1924 in Blanshard
Township. Gladys was the only
daughter of the late Richard and
Mary Selves. Otis was the eldest
son of the late John and Ann
Sawyer.
London. The groom is employed
at a Stereo and TV company and
the bride is an operating room
nurse at Victoria Hospital.
Guests to the wedding came
from Belleville, Toronto,
Burlington, Brantford, Owen
Sound, London, Stratford and
special guests from Holland.

Mrs. Mary Gooch, Huron Park,
gave her home on Monday even-
ing for a farewell party given in
honor of Joyce Dickey and her
mother Mrs. Inez Dickey who are
moving to their new home in Port
Stanley.
A few friends from Centralia,
Huron Park and Exeter Were
present for the occasion,. They
were presented with a clock and
a lace table cloth,
The evening was spent in
games and music provided by
Mrs. Cecil Smith of Huron Park
who led in community singing.
Mr. M. Elston was master of
ceremonies.
Little Ronda Dickey and David
Gooch made the presentation.
Mr, & Mrs. M. H. Elston were
dinner guests of Mr. & Mrs. Jno.
Thompson, Centralia on June 21
when they celebrated their 52nd
Wedding anniversary. They also
entertained Mr. & Mrs, Allan
Needham, Ilderton, Mrs.
Needham was Celebrating her
birthday.
Mr, & Mrs. Allan Elston visited
with their cousins Mr. & Mrs.
Bruce McClean and Mrs. Carrie
McGavin on Sunday evening.
Mr. John McAllister spent Sun-
day in Owen Sound with his
mother, Mrs. Wm McAllister.

visited Wayne Dinham of Kirkton
who is a patient in Stratford
General Hospital,

Mr. & Mrs. Allan Elston.

day with her mother Mrs, Ellen
Flannagan who is a patient in St.
Marys Hospital, London.
Stephen and Scott McAllister
of Stratford spent the Weekend
with their grandparents, Mr. &
Mrs, John McAllister.
The sympathy of the
neighborhood is extended to Mr.
St Mrs, Robert Blair and to Mr. &
Mrs. Ray Mills (Judy Blair) in
the passing away of the infant
child, Shawn Mills.

They have lived 50 years on
their farm in Fullerton Town-
ship.
They have three daughters and
one son, Marian, Mrs. Walter

Lois, Mrs, Harvey Hodgins, RR 2
Ailsa Craig; Fern, Mrs. Bill
Dougall, RR 3 Exeter; and Tom,
RR 1 Freelton.
They have 15 grandchildren
and two great grandchildren. Mr.
Ernie Selves, Mr. Wallace
Selves, Fullerton Township, Dr.
Glen Sawyer, London and Mrs,
Doris Julian, Wica, Michigan
attended both the wedding and
the 50th anniversary
celebrations.
Guests attended from Toronto,
Hamilton, London, Windsor,
Michigan, Mitchell, St. Marys,
Exeter and the surrounding area.
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Russell, Mr. &
Mrs, Bob Russell and Mr. & Mrs,
Jim Russell attended the wed-
ding of Susan Morris and George
Wilkinson at the Church of
Ascension in Windsor Saturday,
June 22. Rev. W. B. Cunningham,
grandfather of the bride, per-
formed the marriage ceremony.
Rev. Cunningham had been the
rector of the Church of Ascension
for over 25 years before his
retirement five years ago.
