CARPET CLEANING
AND CLEAN CARPETS
Some people believe that all
they ever have to do to their
carpet is buy if,
And when it seems ci little
dirty and worn, they wonder
why' ittl didn't last longer.
And they never thought of
having it cleaned, Or maybe
they did.
Maybe they used the
machine that spills some
chemical all over their carpet,
waits until it dries, and then
tries to pick it all up again.

The Department of National
Defence in Ottawa has approved
cadet participation and already a
company of army cadets and
their band from Camp Ipperwash
have indicated their willingness
to participate. In addition, two
bus loads of airforce cadets will
arrive from summer camp at
Trenton. Navy League and Sea
Cadets will arrive from units in
London and St. Thomas have also
indicated their desire to attend.
It is ftxpected that the Navy

Camp Borden will be giving a

be given for the .best unit on
parade.
After the presentation the
parade will dismiss back at the
Legion Hall where townspeople
and the service clubs will provide
food and entertainment for the
cadets to show the villages ap-
preciation.
The purpose of Cadet Day is to
extend official recognition as
cadets have been part of the
colorful summer scene at Grand
Bend for years. An event of this
nature gives the public a unique
opportunity to see and judge the
results of their excellent training
for themselves.
In addition, an occasion of .this
nature helps build 'esprit' among
the cadets and provides them an
opportunity ,to learn more about
other cadet organizations and
their aims.
The committee hopes to en-
courage all of the citizens of
Grand Bend to lend a hand to
ensure the success of this un-
dertaking. Many people,
organizations and business -
persons will be asked to donate
time and' effort to guarantee a
spectacular attraction which
could very well become an an-
nual international- event.
