T-A photo Greenway's big event Plan strawberry supper By MANUEL CURTS GREENWAY The United Church Sunday School anniversary was a success on Sunday. The service was well- attended, the Junior choir sang a well prepared anthem and the special guests, The Harvesters' Quartette of Sarnia was well received by young and old alike, as they delivered the message of Jesus for these times in message and in song. Strawberry and Ham The members of the United Church are busy this week in preparation for the strawberry and ham supper, scheduled for Saturday evening. Four hundred boxes of berries and 230 lbs. of ham are on order for this, the biggest social event of the church year. 1•. By the way: Advice for those attending the strawberry supper Saturday evening: The best way to lose those extra pounds is to eat a lot of food. If you do, you'll get lazy; if you're lazy, you won't want to work; if you don't work, how can you earn any money?; and if you have no money, you can't buy food, and if you can't buy food, you won't be able to eat — and if you don't eat, brother, you'll lose plenty of weight.
