Lubrication reduces friction and wear, decreases noise and carries away heat. If you hear a metallic clanging when you race your motor, it may mean your muffler or tailpipe is loose, and hitting against the rear axle. Does your steering wheel vibrate at speeds above 50 miles per hour? Tires may need balancing.
