One hundred and fifty students
of Colborne Central School
visited the Home on Friday af-
ternoon and presented an
operetta "The Pied Piper of
Hamelin". The Residents en-
joyed this performance very
much, as it took them back to
their schooldays when this story
was in one of their readers.
A great deal of credit is due to
the students and teachers for this,
fine display of talent. Mrs.
McClure, a great grandmother of
one of the students, thanked alit'
those responsible for the
on behalf of the
Residents.
The Bayfield volunteers
assisted with Monday's activities
with Mrs. Myrtle Parker joining
Norman Speir and Jerry Collins

ternoon.
The over 90 Club met on

on Health Education with CKNX
television.
Then Mr. McCarron continued
his presentation using video-
taped work that he had taken at
the many school functions he has
attended, Nearly all the schools
in the system were represented
participating in some of the
physical activities that the
Huron-Perth system has to offer.
As well as the conventional
elementary school sports, the
parents were shown the Grade 4
or combinations 3 and 4 or 4 and 5
class swimming program held at
the "Y" in Stratford; work on
climbing equipment, gymnastics,
and the Canada Fitness
Program.
Perhaps the most touching part
of the program was where the
children from St. Boniface, in
Zurich, and Ecole Ste. Marie,
from St. Josesph, were en-
tertaining the children at
,Merrymount and it seemed very
worth while.
Mr. McCarroll's presentation
