Oregon brothers visit Centralia

Shoebottom and family have
moved from Rom Park to their
home in the village.
Mr. & Mrs. Joseph B. Creech of
St, Marys were recent visitors at
the home of Miss Agnes
Anderson.
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Lilley and
Susan of Komoka were Thursday
evening visitors with Mrs. Frank
Smyth and Joanne. Susan
remained with Joapne for a
couple of days visit,
Mr. & Mrs, Percy Knee and-
family visited over the Easter
weekend with Mr, & Mrs.
Seymour Knee in Dunnville.
Mary Shoebottom and her
sister Mrs. Jain Thomas of
Belmont spent the weekend with
their grandmother and brother in
Tuesday evening.
The games and.sing song were
replaced by a Bible study con-
ducted by Mr. Stankewitch and
Mrs. Beaton.

Paul and Emerson, of Oregon,.
U.S.A. called on friends in the
community Tuesday, They are
sons of the late Mr, & Mrs. Alf
Hodgins and former residents of
the Fairfield line.
Mr. & Mrs, Ken Greb spent the
weekend with Mrs. Greb's
mother, Mrs. Amos Smith of
Mopnt Albert and attended the
Easter Musical at the Peoples
Church in Toronto.

charge of the euchre party in the
Community Centre Monday

The draws on the jars of maple
syrup were won by Mrs. Sam
Skinner and Murray Neil. The
guessing contest on a jar of
popcorn was won by Joe Carter.
The evening's proceeds were
donated to Bunny Bundle.
Easter Service
Rev, Beaton in his Easter
sermon Sunday told his listeners
that the love of God was revealed
to man through the sacrifice of
his Son on the cross and the
message of Easter is that death
does not conquer the spirit of
man.
The choir, under the leadership
of Mrs. Russell Wilson with
Marikay Hodgins as organist,
sang an Easter anthem.
Communion was observed
during the service. The church
was decorated with Easter lilies
and plants and there were
flowers in memory of the late
Wm. Rader.
Parry Sound and visited their
grandfather in the hospital.
Mr, & Mrs. Jahn Thompson
were Sunday visitors with Mrs.
Jessie McKeever in Clinton.
Mrs. Russell Schroeder was a

tended the opening premiere of
The Donnellys at the Grand
Theatre London, Friday evening.

Easter Day service was held in
St. Patrick's Church with Rev. R.
Savary conducting Holy Com-
munion. Mrs. Tom Kooy was at
the organ. The church was
decorated with spring flowers.
Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Davis en-
tertained 29 members of the
Davis family Saturday evening
with a smorgasbord dinner. They
were celebrating Heber Davis'
birthday.
Saturday evening following a
local dance a number of friends
met at the home of Mr. & Mrs.
Earl Greenlee for a smorgasbord
meal honoring Mrs. Ken Eaton
who was observing her birthday.

at the Exeter Kinettes Easter
draw, Bruce Shaw, Exeter was
the second draw winner. His
prize was a chocolate rabbit.
April 17, members of local
Kinette club were in Clinton to
attend the zone 'B' interclub.
Each Kinette president gave a
report of her club's yearly ac-
