Village of Grand Bend
DOG CONTROL
"Dogs running at large contrary to By-
Law may result in owner being charg-
ed and/or dog being impounded."
Every owner, possessor or harbourer of a
dog, annually on or before 1 March shall obtain
a license from the Village Clerk and shall cause
the dog to wear around its neck a collar, to
which is attached a dog tag for the current year.
No person shall permit his or her dog to run
at large in the Village of Grand Bend with or
without a dog tag; and any dog running at large
contrary to the provisions of the By-Law, may be
captured, killed or otherwise disposed of by the
Animal Control Officer of the Village of Grand
Bend.

Any person having a small animal they wish
to dispose of is to contact the Village Clerk.

The first annual Lucan Legion
Leprechaun atom hockey tour-
nament was an unqualified
success at the Lucan arena,
Saturday.
A total of 27 competed in three
categories. Willowdale won the
"B' championship and Exeter
won the runner-up trophy in the
same category along with the
Wilf Hodgins trophy as the most

Forest won the "C" section title
with 2-1 win over Lambeth after
edging Dresden by the same
score in the semi-final. They also
defeated Port Stanley 2-1.
Lambeth won 7-3 over Palmer-
ston after receiving a bye.
The "D" crown was won by
Zurich as the result of a 4-1 win
over Dorchester. Zurich reached
the finals with a 4-1 win over
Belmont and a 9-1 victory over
Norwich.
Dorchester's earlier wins were
9-3 over Parkhill and 4-1 over
Alvinston and 7 -2 against
Ilderton.
Willowdale edged Exeter 2-1
after outscoring Brantford 7-1
and St. Marys 4-1. Exeter's early
wins were 7-2 against Southwest
London and 8-1 over Huron East.

Thursday evening the Tyros
and Explorers will meet in the
church basement.
World Day of Prayer will be
held at Elimville on Friday af-
ternoon.
The March meeting of the
United Church Women will be
held Monday evening March 4 at
8.30 p.m.
